Aeden and the box

Nana cut up a cardboard box and brought it over. Aeden just loved it. He played in that thing for the longest time. He really liked rocking back in it and tipping it over (got to admit I wasn't too thrilled about that). Anyway, no injuries and he did have fun. It's still sitting down in the living room, another attractive peice of furniture to match the rose chair.

Praying Mantis

This guy/girl (not sure how to tell with a praying mantis) was sitting on the back porch. Without his arms stretched out, he was longer than my hand... once they get this size, I get a little nervous (the weird part is I'm more scared of this bug than the bear) Speaking of which, if you look at this guy in the larger picture, I swear he's giving me the "evil" eye.

Recent Visitors

Recent vistors... The smaller bear to the left is the one that has been visiting our chickens and enjoying the scratch that we throw out. He seems to have found other interests of late though, since I haven't seen him (or her) in close proximity to the house. Note the future garden/nice bear resting spot... I guess we'd better get planting.
