Aeden's Second Grade Graduation

That race was totally fun – once I got settled in (which took about to
the first station) and except for Laurel Mountain (I ran about of
water about 8 miles before Station 3) and it took me most of the
Laurel mountain climb to get everything back in balance).

I must have been too tired to worry about the downhills. Definitely a
PR on Spencer Branch. Only dabbed once each on Wash Creek and Pilot.
Black Mountain felt smooth and fast (I must have been delirious at
that point – likely due to the two double expresso gel shots just
before the last Station) I would sworn that when we just did that
trail with Joe that it beat the crap out of me.

I also need to send a shout out to Andrew for showing where it was
possible to ride the single speed both up Laurel and Black Mountain.
That must have saved me at least 15 minutes of hike-a-bike. I just
kept saying to myself – I saw Andrew ride this ;-).

That was great – would definitely do it again – maybe Cathy will
forget what a PITA it was having me gone for Saturday after Saturday
by next year ;-)
