Amazing what you can do with a big pile of packed snow and a few
shovels... the kids (both big and small) were playing outside for
several hours. August loved sledding down the little him.

Winter Wonderland
Really enjoying the winter weather. 10-12" of snow make even the
steepest hill sleddable. Also - nothing like being the first to
hiking a snow covered trail. Way too much fun!

Big Talbot Island
After last week's adventure at Little Talbot Island, I decided to give
Big Talbot Island a try and was pleasantly rewarded. The beach
awesome, with tidal pools, rock formations, driftwood (well entire
trees pulled down from the bluffs), and a beautiful sunset and
moonrise. I got to drag along a colleague, definitely more fun to go
exploring with someone to share it with.

Halloween - Aeden, August and Jackson ready to head out.
Nothing like Double the dark side with two darth Vaders plus a young
apprenctice version of Anakin ;-). Not sure what the black balloon
was all about, but August wasn't going to depart without it.

Visit to DC and Ted and Erica's Wedding
Pictures from our recent trip up to DC and Ted and Erica's wedding.
Ted and Erica's wedding was lovely. Aeden really enjoyed being the Ring Bearer.
We also got to down to the mall and to the museums of American History
and Natural History. The dinosaurs were a big hit, but I'm not so
sure the 3D movie was as appreciated by the younger folk as I thought
it would be.
