Hike at Shope

Nice hike until we decided to try the logged and destroyed trail left
by the logging activity. I figured walking would be much quicker than
carrying the bike - but it's a mess - and then there was the encounter
with the white faced hornets as I tried to clear a little of the trail
debris. Ouch - those guys hurt but the sting was nothing compared
with the itching that night....
